DZHAMALARI is a polish instrumental duo. Alexander Czikmakow - guitar, Łukasz Kurzydło - percussions. On this album are recorded macedonian folk dances called oro. Oro, also known as hora or kolo is a popular dance evolved from the fusion of slavic and Middle East traditions and widespread in the Balkans, Greece and the Caucasus. The magic of pagan and oriental influences on European music is hidden behind the unique temperament and complex rhythm. The musicians want to share this miracle of oro with the wide audience.
